Another  surprise on the Engwis Ranch.  Looking across the range land is deceiving, hiding the  beauty that truly exists. Ride a favorite horse or  four-wheeler across this seemingly endless gentle vista and watch the hidden diversity unfold. Coulees (Montana for ravines) are filled with lush oases of spring water , aspen groves, cottonwood, juniper, and an occasional pine tree.  Just as the riparian area, the coulees lure a host of wildlife including trophy antelope and deer.  As pasture they provide natural water and shelter for cattle.   The range is divided into six pastures with spring fed water to each.
